Ponder over the article below which I saw on the Internet - makes you think doesn't it?
Life is not all about living a life for the sake but what really matters is how content and happy you are in your life. Some people are too lucky to have got everything they need without being asked for while there are some who seem not to have enough of anything even when being provided the best of all.
We deal with every kind of situations each and every day and we learn something out of it, though not fruitful, though not susceptible but helpful in the long run. No matter how strongly build you are, how many pushups you do or how many hours you spend in the gym, a single and so simple worry or tension or confusion can get you bizarre. If I would want to keep my body in shape, I will right away start having proper diets, sleep and wake up at proper time, run a mile, swim a yard, do a little exercise and after two months or so I will be physically fit for say. But that doesn’t count my mental fitness or my spiritual life.
We constantly find our self cursing or blaming the self when we are unhappy. We try to recall and rewind everything that might have gone wrong and when we finally realized we are caught in the midst of clouds that why had we ever done that. Humans are unhappy to the fact they are unhappy, so move on. You still have the world to conquer.
Let go of all your miseries, you don’t own it. Let go of all the fear, do not let it control you. In times we are scared to take our risks, the reason being it might be our first time or might be we are scared to lose again. You are the master of your own body, why let it be controlled by some adjective??? Search into your soul and dig out what might have been the reason for your fear, and once you are through it you will be ahead of this adjective called fear. Think of the fear as just one tiny four worded adjective and not a much. Do not run away but face it; who knows it might have been scared of you too??? If you turn your back and walk away, it will go stronger, do not let it happen.
Sometimes our life is so beautiful and full of butterflies that we hardly notice the most important thing that we missed out in our life. Life, as everything in nature, comes in symmetry. The ups in your life in the other part of the symmetrical line are always balanced by the downs in the other half. So do not get fooled by the illusion of your happiness or do not break down when you are having the hardest time. Always keep in mind, as Birbal said, “Even this moment will pass away”.
There are times in our life, almost in everyone’s, when we need to let go off something which is very dear to us. And hardly a one does that, petrified of losing such things. Think of one incident when you are caught in the mud flood and you are tightly holding on to a pole. The currents becoming stronger and you know that the pole will not hold on for long. Suddenly you see a safer place, a safer stair which seems to be holding on very tight. The moment you jump off to that stair, the pole on which you have been holding on get carried away in the fierce current and you are excitingly and fearfully relieve that you let go off that pole. What I am trying to say is that, there are many similar incidents or occurrences in our life that we need to let go off and unless we are placed in the extreme dangerous condition we hardly notice the better facilities that have been kept open for us. Look around, search carefully as if you are finding a tiny needle in that big room rather than scanning and parsing the room in one go. Remember a small tiny hole in your clothes can get worse and ruin it in times. Like they say a stitch in time saves nine.
Never ever compare your life with others, you have no idea what they might have gone through and that you and him don’t share the same journey. Stop thinking too much about the things which you didn’t understand, it’s all right if you don’t know some of the answers you were looking about. And lastly smile because you know you are not the only one that owns the problem, you don’t want a day to be wasted away.
